Brian was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. As the son of a Public Accountant, Brian has been involved with bookkeeping since he was a child, helping to sort paperwork when he was 5, reconciling bank accounts at 8 and making general journal entries when he was 12. His dad's desk calculator was a favorite toy. Bookkeeping was in his blood.Brian's knack for numbers gave him a natural aptitude for computers, first being introduced to them in the late 70's when his father's boss purchased one of the first Apples for his office. Brian would accompany his father to his office, and by the end of summer he had written a program to create a bouncing ball across the screen, as well as a program to play Blackjack. He was hooked.
