Since 1978... ... American Computers & Engineers, one of the first value added computer sales and rental companies in Los Angeles, has remained in operation under the same ownership and management. Over an impressive and unique period of 28 years, AC&E witnessed the birth and evolution of the microcomputer industry and the advent of the workstation and the graphics engine. AC&E participated in this exciting industry as a VAR to many Silicon Valley startups, notable amongst them: Sun Microsystems, Solbourne, and Silicon Graphics. Additionally AC&E represented DEC, HP and IBM.
